When you are
preparing your property for sale, reduce the number of family pictures on the
wall. Allow another family to imagine their family photos hanging there. It
reduces clutter and allows the potential buyer to see the property as they
would make it theirs. Also clean the fridge. Take all magnets and pictures off
the refrigerator to reduce the clutter and streamline the kitchen. Reducing
family pictures takes the eyes off the people and on the property.
Most homes need to look larger. Providing continuity from the curb through to the back yard expands the visual space of a small to medium size house. Providing harmony and bringing the outside in makes for a more pleasant experience overall. One of the least expensive solutions is to add background color with seasonal ground covers and plantings.
